Age of Stupid

A hybrid animation/drama/cinema documentary from Oscar-winning producer John Battsek and Franny Armstrong and stars Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite as an old man living in the devastated world of 2055.

Puritymedia created key CGI scenes in the film and made extensive use of Maya's dynamics and particle systems to build the exterior environment which included the ocean, sky and clouds of mist. Modelled and rendered to a high photorealistic quality that matched seamlessly with live footage.
